On your next statement you will see information regarding "verification of member accounts." This will be for period ending June 30, 2026. Please review carefully and respond to the name listed on your statement if there are any discrepancies found.
SWEMP FEDERAL CREDIT UNION was established in 1946 by SWEPCO Employees. We are a “closed membership” credit union. That means you must be an employee of SWEPCO/AEP to join SWEMP.
Once you are a member you may invite your immediate relatives to join. Those that would be eligible to join include your SPOUSE, Mother, Father, Sister, Brother, Son, Daughter. If you are unsure, please call us.
