SWEMP FEDERAL CREDIT UNION was established in 1946 by SWEPCO Employees. We are a “closed membership” credit union. That means you must be an employee of SWEPCO/AEP to join SWEMP.

Once you are a member you may invite your immediate relatives to join. Those that would be eligible to join include your SPOUSE, Mother, Father, Sister, Brother, Son, Daughter. If you are unsure, please call us.

We work hard to help you make the most interest on your money and pay the lowest possible interest on your loans.
